Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop Business by generating leads and attracting new prospects to create a sales pipeline 
  • Working on building your book of business by making 100-120 calls a day
  • Securing new accounts by (Targeting small to medium businesses)
  • Providing customers with shipping quotes
  • Updating customers on the status of shipments and assisting with other inquiries
  • Respond to customer concerns and inquiries professionally
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers
  • Provide special discounts and promotions to customers (On a case-by-case base) 
  • Keeping up with the market & Informed about Rate Offerings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in business administration (BBA) (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or 2+ years of experience in the logistics industry.
  • If you already have an established book of business, let's talk about how we can take you to the next level.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management industry/logistics, however, if you don’t and you are a self-starter, we would still like to hear from you.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Outstanding people skills.
  • Proficient negotiating Skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets.
